Advaiya presented at the Microsoft PPM Summit San Francisco held on Tuesday, March 21st, 2017. This premier event attracts enterprises and developers with interest in project and portfolio management. As one of the key sponsors, Advaiya highlighted how agile methodologies can be valuably adopted via Microsoft Project Online and customizations and extensions built on it.
Darrin Lange, Senior Director, and Dharmesh Godha, CTO, presented thought leadership and technical sessions on “Gaining Insights, Effectiveness and Agility from Project Online with Extensions.” They talked about quick productivity gains and process innovations through Project Online extensions. They also talked about advanced reporting and surfacing key role-based information.
Sessions by Advaiya were attended by a large number of project management experts and technologists. Darrin and Dharmesh presented relevant approaches to integrate agile and waterfall methodologies, especially in regard to project management technologies. The focus of the presentations was on workforce productivity, driving standardization for efficiencies, and overall gaining higher returns on investments. They also covered the technical aspects of information extraction using OData, SharePoint coding with CSOM, and mobile apps. Use of Excel services for powerful financial views and leveraging PowerBI for deep insight were demonstrated and discussed in detail.
